I bit the bullet and bought a new refrigerator unit to replace the old rusty non-working one in the boat. I stepped up to the "SuperCold" model, which will need a thru-hull for its extra water cooling unit (for the Tropics).
I bought the (1) Adler Barbour Cu200 Qc Air/Water Cooled Condenser and (2) Adler Barbour Vd150 Qc Small Vertical Evaporator from Hodges Marine (hodgesmarine.com) for $850.25 & $403.71, shipped, respectively. I highly recommend Hodges - their prices rarely can be beat!
