Not only does it let me see outside to the cockpit clearly, and still be protected and/or warm... but I can use my Garmin Chartplotter - on its swing-out mount - and see it from outside, with the washboards in, and use the remote control as well.

I had them cut the same same size as my wood washboards, so I can insert any one of the 3 with any of the wood washboards.  For instance, I can just use the center plexiglass washboard for visibility, or all 3, etc.
