I was struggling, trying to figure how I was going to accomodate Solar Panels, a Wind Generator... could I use davits? What about mounting a Windvane?

Arches are nice, but they start at $5,000 for custom stainless Steel ones, and go up from there... many cost the better part of $10,000! Obviously, I can't justify that cost...

Last year I spoke with Mark at Garhauer Marine, the best bet for reasonably priced Davits... and I could mount Solar Panels on them, but that would not allow me to mount a Self-Steering mechanical Windvane... 

Nothing was coming together to do all I wanted to do...

Then I discovered ATLANTIC TOWERS in New Jersey, and their "Tower in a Box" (which allows them to mass produce affordable Arches)!  They designed a lighter weight and much stronger than Stainless Steel customs that started at $5,000 (like Kato Marine), so I called them...

To my surprise I was able to order an Arch (Tower) that would give me a hoist to hang the Dinghy (like Davits); a place to mount my Solar Panels, and Wind Generator, multiple antennas, radar, navigation cameras; a outboard motor hoist, even extra propane tanks, and on and on!  And yes, I could still mount a Windvane!  And it was priced at.... drumroll, please! starting at only $1,599 - mine came out to $2,099 (I needed an offset model to fit my boat).

BINGO! PROBLEM SOLVED!  And it will carry my Solar Panels, Wind Generator, Radar, hoist for Dingy, etc, etc... Life is Good!
